Don’t panic! You will get your money, but sometimes delays happen. Here’s what could be going on and what you can do.
It’s been less than 3 business days
Interac e-Transfers typically arrive within 1-3 business days after processing. If it’s been less than 3 business days, sit tight – your transfer is on its way!
Check your spam or junk folder
Sometimes emails from Interac get filtered. Check your spam/junk folder for an email from Interac.
You used an old or incorrect email address
Your Interac e-Transfer is sent to the email address registered to your Caddle account at the time of cashout. If you no longer have access to that email, don’t worry! If the transfer isn’t accepted within 30 days, the funds will automatically return to us, and we can reissue the payment to your updated email. If you need to update your email before the 30-day period expires, submit a Support Request and we’ll assist you.
Your transfer expired before you accepted it
If you didn’t accept your Interac e-Transfer within 30 days, the transfer expires and the funds are automatically returned to Caddle. Once we receive the returned funds, we’ll reissue your payment – just reach out via a Support Request to confirm your correct email.
You moved banks or changed accounts
Interac e-Transfers aren’t linked to a specific bank account – they go to the email address on file. As long as you can access that email, you can deposit the transfer into any Canadian bank account.
Still missing your payment?
If none of the above applies, submit a Support Request and we’ll track down the issue to make sure you get paid. We know delays can be frustrating, but rest assured – we’ll always make sure you get your payment.
🚀 Pro tip: Before cashing out, always double-check that your Caddle account email is up to date to avoid delays!
